En noviembre de 2021, el Ministro del Interior se reuni\u00f3 con el Secretario Ejecutivo de la ESCAP para discutir el desarrollo en curso del Registro Civil y de Estad\u00edsticas Vitales (CRVS) de su pa\u00eds. Durante la reuni\u00f3n, el Ministro destac\u00f3 los esfuerzos que est\u00e1 realizando el gobierno para redactar leyes sobre el registro civil y la identificaci\u00f3n con el objetivo de garantizar que cada ciudadano tenga una identidad \u00fanica. Reconoci\u00f3 que la identidad legal es imprescindible para servir a las actividades diarias de los camboyanos. Tambi\u00e9n se\u00f1al\u00f3 que Camboya “ha estado trabajando activamente en este tema y ha estado aplicando [su] plan estrat\u00e9gico 2016-2021 sobre el registro civil”. Child identity Protection se congratula de los esfuerzos de Camboya por garantizar el registro universal de nacimientos y as\u00ed garantizar el derecho a la identidad a todos los ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as desde su nacimiento.<\/p>\n
