Bien que ses recommandations incluent que \u00ab\u00a0les personnes adopt\u00e9es devraient avoir droit \u00e0 leurs certificats de naissance et \u00e0 toute information li\u00e9e \u00e0 leur naissance \u00bb, la Commission d\u2019enqu\u00eate a \u00e9t\u00e9 vivement critiqu\u00e9e pour avoir elle-m\u00eame refus\u00e9 de fournir aux survivants et aux personnes adopt\u00e9es l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 leurs donn\u00e9es personnelles ou \u00e0 d\u2019autres documents archiv\u00e9s, et pour avoir refus\u00e9 de leur donner la possibilit\u00e9 de t\u00e9moigner en public (2).
